ADGM Academy Celebrates 5th Anniversary and Success of 500 Professional Graduates at Abu Dhabi Finance Week

- ADGMA continues achieving new milestones through its commitment to Emirati upskilling and career development and its National Development Program (NDP) launched in 2019, with over 3,000 job opportunities created in the private sector.
Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA), the knowledge arm of ADGM, celebrated its 5th anniversary by hosting a grand graduation ceremony for 500 professional graduates for the year 2023 at Abu Dhabi Finance Week’s (ADFW) second edition.
During the ceremony, ADGMA lauded the accomplishments of its professional graduates emphasising their significant contributions to the nation's prosperity through their distinguished careers. With this year's additions, the Academy has surpassed a milestone, having over 8000 participants across various courses and programs in the past five years. This achievement of alumni who have been engaged solidifies ADGMA's reputation for effectively nurturing and developing local talent and skills, creating a robust alumni network.
ADGMA took the opportunity to highlight its remarkable achievements over the last five years, showcasing the impact of its commitment to Emirati upskilling and career development. The institution also expressed gratitude to its private sector partners, recognizing their steadfast support for Emiratisation within their organisations. The collaborative efforts with these partners have been instrumental in sustaining the growth of ADGMA's talented community and the overall economy.
The event also hosted a panel session with prominent members of the government who discussed future skills in a changing and dynamic landscape.
In a significant development during its fifth year of operations, ADGMA established its Research Centre, the only applied research centre dedicated to addressing real-world challenges for policymakers, regulators, and educators.
Commenting on these milestones of ADGMA, Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the ADGM Academy Board of Directors said, "The successes of ADGM Academy are a testament to the substantial progress we have achieved in the past five years. we reiterate our commitment to developing the knowledge economy of the UAE and contributing to Abu Dhabi's financial industry through a culture of research and innovation,".
