ADGM heads to Singapore FinTech Festival 2019 with Abu Dhabi delegation

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the award-winning International Financial Centre in Abu Dhabi, is pleased to be part of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2019 which is the world’s largest FinTech event from 11 to 15 November. The ADGM delegation, led by Mr Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), will be in Singapore to host the ADGM Pavilion, an ADGM workshop, be part of the Regulator’s zone and showcase two FinTech Abu Dhabi Innovation Challenge Winners to the global FinTech community. The ADGM Pavilion will also include and introduce Hub 71 Abu Dhabi to the international financial leaders and FinTech participants.
Richard Teng, CEO of FSRA ADGM, said: “This is our 4th year in Singapore FinTech Festival and we are excited to introduce Hub 71 Abu Dhabi and two of our Innovation Challenge Winners – RisQ and Jibrel Network to the global FinTech community. This Festival provides a strategic platform to share and unveil the developments and tremendous opportunities in the United Arab Emirates and wider Middle East and Africa region.”

FinTech firms, Jibrel Network and RisQ, bagged the top places from 11 other global innovators to be two winners of the 2019 FinTech AD Innovation Challenge held in Abu Dhabi on 22 to 23 October. Jibrel and RisQ will represent Abu Dhabi to pitch and compete in the Global FinTech Hackcelerator under the Singapore FinTech Festival. This Hackcelerator is one of the most sought-after competitions for exciting and innovative start-ups looking to address problem statements collated from the financial industry. Throughout the Festival, Jibrel Network and RisQ will also be showcasing their solutions under the ADGM Pavilion. In addition, participants and FinTech firms at the Singapore FinTech Festival will stand to win trips (inclusive of flights and accommodation) to ADGM’s FinTech Abu Dhabi 2020.
