5 September 2016, Abu Dhabi: The Registration Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) launched its inaugural Business Breakfast networking series, part of the LinkADGM initiative, which brings together key business partners and stakeholders to foster a closer and more collaborative environment as an international financial centre under ADGM.

The Registration Authority, one of the three ADGM Authorities, began full operations in just a year back and opened its doors to register non-financial and financial entities in the financial free zone on the Al Maryah Island. In these 12 months, more than 100 local and international firms from a broad range of industry sectors have efficiently and successfully established their regional presence and commenced operations from ADGM as the leading business platform and jurisdiction.

The first LinkADGM Business Breakfast welcomed over 50 senior executives from the financial services, legal, accounting, consulting, compliance, risk management, real estate, energy and corporate services sectors. The networking event allows these executives to establish new industry contacts as well as develop new business relations within ADGM’s business network. It also creates a platform for the business leaders and executives to meet the CEOs and top management of ADGM and exchange insights and updates of the latest developments in the financial industry. The networking session provided the opportunity for ADGM to strengthen relations with its client firms and gain a better understanding of needs, challenges and market opportunities.

LinkADGM networking events will be held on a regular basis on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s financial free zone.
