Principes Partners, a specialist climate investor focusing on net zero industrialisation and infrastructure development in the emerging markets joins Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Declaration (ADSFD), anchored by ADGM.

Joining the Declaration is a demonstration of Principes Partners’ commitment to establishing a presence in Abu Dhabi serving on cross-border investments in global net zero industry value chains in Agri-Food, Energy Systems & Industrial Resources among BRIC+ countries, and contributing to the UAE’s Make It in the UAE ambition.

The Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Declaration is a membership-based initiative that was established by ADGM in 2019 under the sponsorship of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the Central Bank of the UAE, and the Securities and Commodities Authority, with more than 160 members collaborating to foster and integrate sustainable investments within the UAE and the wider region.

Previously launched at COP28, Principes Partners leverages 50+ years of combined track record and extensive industry expertise at the intersection of finance, technology & sustainability for potentialising net zero industrialisation and infrastructure development in the emerging markets through public, private and philanthropy partnership, while reflecting closely to UAE Consensus for mobilising blended finance for the global south for a just, orderly and equitable energy transition, tripling renewables and doubling energy efficiency globally by 2030.

Principes Partners’s unique net zero industry value chain investment approach aims to close gaps in funding, know-how and market, and mitigates tech and development risk profiles for optimising transformative growth prospect that creates long-term financial and strategic returns, alongside their positive environmental and social impact, while enabling first-mover advantage in short & long term value realisation to become net zero industry value chain leaders.

On the roads to COP30, Principes Partners is currently working on Brazil-focused growth and infrastructure investment opportunities to unlock scalable deployment of alternative energy solutions in Power-to-X, Electrification and Waste to Energy including Hydrogen, E-Methanol, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), Battery Storage, Grid Systems, etc, and advocates climate actions for decarbonisation of the Amazonia in support of ENBPar —Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear e Binacional, a Brazilian state-owned company linked to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), other public institutions and the private sector.

Decarbonisation of the Amazonia is going to be a critical climate action initiative for the entire humanity that Principes Partners is engaged to promote climate nature solutions and socio-economic development to solve environmental and social challenges in the Amazonian biome, and build low carbon energy infrastructures, logistics and utilities in the port city of Belém where COP30 will be hosted.

Finally, Principes Partners is also invited to attend UNCCD COP16 Riyadh for the launch of the AGFUND-BADEA-Innovation Commission 2025-2030 Global Flagship Initiative as part of Riyadh Action Agenda, joining the Crop Trust, international governments, the private sector, and other members of the Arab Coordination Group. As a founding member, Principes Partners together with CAMPO, and Brazilian state governments of Minas Gerais, Bahia among many other Brazilian stakeholders will scale up its “Cerrado Low Carbon Agriculture” program for promoting regenerative, green and smart agriculture to solve global food security challenges.
