The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM alerts the community and the public about recent fraudulent schemes in which individuals or entities make false claims on social media that they are associated with ADGM or its staff and promise loans to solicit upfront payments.  

Please be aware that:

1. ADGM and its staff do not process or facilitate loan transactions for third parties. Any advertisements or posts on social media platforms or unsolicited communications suggesting otherwise are fraudulent.
2. Scammers may falsely claim to represent ADGM to deceive individuals into providing personal or financial information or to transfer funds.
3. If you receive unsolicited communications offering loans or other financial products and services that claim to be from ADGM directly, please act with caution.

Take steps to protect yourself:

• Always verify the identity of any person or organisation contacting you. Official communications from ADGM will always come from verified official channels.
• Do not share confidential financial details such as bank account numbers, personal identification numbers (PINs), or passwords with anyone, even if they claim to be from a regulatory authority or an official body.
• If in doubt, contact the FSRA directly using the contact details provided on our official website.

The FSRA is committed to maintaining the integrity of financial markets and ensuring a fair and transparent environment for all market participants.

Only firms authorised by the FSRA can undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM.

The FSRA advises the market and investors to not deal with any firm until it is verified that the firm is authentic and has been granted the appropriate Financial Services Permission by the FSRA to undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM.
