The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM alerts the community and the public about recent fraudulent schemes in which individuals or entities make false claims to be associated with the FSRA, the ADGM or its staff and use false documents purporting to be issued by the FSRA or ADGM in order to solicit payments.

Please be aware that:

1. ADGM and its staff will never be involved in processing or facilitating wire transfers for third parties. Any request or communication suggesting otherwise is fraudulent.
2. Impersonation of ADGM staff is a criminal act. Scammers may falsely claim to represent ADGM in an attempt to deceive individuals into providing personal or financial information or transferring funds.
3. If you receive unsolicited communications or requests involving wire transfers or financial transactions, especially those claiming to be from the FSRA or ADGM, please treat them with suspicion. Do not respond, and do not provide any sensitive information.

Take steps to protect yourself:

• Always verify the identity of any person or organisation contacting you. Official communications from ADGM will always come from verified official channels.
• Do not share confidential financial details such as bank account numbers, personal identification numbers (PINs), or passwords with anyone, even if they claim to be from a regulatory authority or an official body.
• If in doubt, contact the FSRA directly using the contact details provided on our official website.

The FSRA is committed to maintaining the integrity of financial markets and ensuring a fair and transparent environment for all market participants.

Only firms authorised by the FSRA can undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM. The FSRA advises the market and investors not to deal with any firm until it is verified that the firm is authentic and has been granted the appropriate Financial Services Permission by the FSRA to undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM.

Anyone with concerns about a website or a firm purporting to be incorporated or registered in ADGM should check the ADGM Registration Authority’s Public Register .
